Namu Travel Group

Turning a corporate travel website into an experience worth exploring.

Namu Travel Group creates personalized travel experiences across Central America. I redesigned its digital experience to better reflect the sense of discovery and adventure behind the journeys it creates.

The Challenge

Namu's existing website communicated its services—but didn't fully communicate the experience.

Company information, benefits, and destinations competed for attention, making the site feel more like an informational brochure than the beginning of a journey.

The goal

Create a more immersive experience that inspires travelers to discover, explore, and imagine their next trip.

Before

The original homepage.

After

The redesigned homepage.

Finding the Right Direction

Before designing the website, I explored three distinct visual directions with the client—each offering a different interpretation of premium travel.

Minimal

Refined and understated.

Trendy

Bold, contemporary, and editorial.

✓ Selected

Immersive

Destination-led, cinematic, and built around the feeling of exploration.

The selected direction became the visual foundation for the final experience.

Designing for Exploration

Travel starts with curiosity.

Namu operates across multiple destinations, so I wanted discovery itself to become part of the experience.

I designed an interactive map that allows travelers to explore destinations geographically and dive deeper into each one—turning navigation into part of the journey.

The rest of the experience was designed to guide visitors from:

Discover Explore Trust Inquire

Before

The original destinations page.

After

The redesigned destinations page, built around the interactive map.

The Result

A more immersive, destination-led digital experience that better reflects the personalized journeys Namu Travel creates.

17+ Pages

A full site architecture — homepage, destinations, itineraries, advisors, and press, each built from the same design system.

6 Destinations

Costa Rica, Belize, Panama, Colombia, Guatemala, and Nicaragua — each with its own page, its own photography, and its own pin on the map.

1 Interactive destination map

The centerpiece. Navigation stopped being a menu and became the thing people came to do.

In Their Words

What the Namu team is saying.

The new website is exceptionally well-designed and offers excellent UX for all users. We’re currently seeing a consistent 4–5% conversion rate from organic traffic, which is fantastic and generally beats the global average.

It has helped drive new leads and improve our B2B message, where before we had nothing. The biggest improvement was clearly explaining what we do, improving inbound B2B leads, and giving us the ability to scale.

Adam Baker Creative Director · Namu Travel Group

I’m very proud of the website and look forward to making it even better!
